Kiwanis Youth Programs

Kiwanis International is a "family" of organizations that focuses on teaching young children about the responsibilities of good citizenship, community service and building future leaders.

 

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs (SLPs)

Terrific Kids is student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance.

Builders Club, designed for middle school students, encourages them to focus their passion and energy on serving others.  As members, they learn self-confidence and become tomorrow’s leaders through teamwork, goal-setting and action

Key Club is the oldest and largest high school service organization in the world.  Key Clubs are in 36 countries and consist of members dedicated to bettering their communities And the world.  We prepare Key Clubbers for success by equipping them with leadership skills, compassion and empathy.

Circle K International is the world’s largest student-led service organization for college students.  Now in 19 nations, this group is among the most passionate Kwanis-family members when it comes to service.

Aktion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities.  Members develop confidence and self-esteem by adopting leadership roles within their clubs.  They also discover their own talents as they use them to help others.

Our sponsored youth groups independently initiate service projects and community service activities throughout the school year. Our club works through an adviser in each youth organization to coordinate our participation with their activities or to have them work with us on major service programs and fund raisers.

We are so proud of our youth groups and their accomplishments which make our community a much better place to live. The activities listed below are a small portion of the many projects they are involved in:
