In order to carry out all the projects that our club is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Community Service Committee
Pratt, Bill
Identify and organize opportunities for Club members to participate with projects of service to the children and the community, to be aware of the needs in the community that the Club might address and to inform the membership of these needs. Present proposed needs and projects to the board for discussion and approval. Finance Audit Committee
Riddle, Terry
Conduct an annual review of the financial records of the club and report findings in writing to the board of directors. The committee should be two or more club members, excluding any board members or members of the Finance Committee.
Finance Committee
Kirst, Kathy
Receives requests for funding from community organizations, recommends to the board annual budget allocations for service projects and makes recommendations for unbudgeted donations. Generates an annual budget for board review and approval. Monitor adherence to the approved budget and reports adherence to the board on a monthly basis.
Fund Raising Projects Committee
Shaughnessy, John
Coordinates, plans, organizes and conducts fundraising projects. The committee solicits volunteers to assume Project Leader responsibilities and staff fundraising events. The committee recommends improvements of existing events and recommends new events, along with a financial and manpower feasibility, for each proposed event to the board. House and Hospitality Committee

Organize meeting room, display club banners, ensure the bell and gavel are in place, display the Kiwanis membership materials/club brochures, member name tags and guest name tags. Encourage members to wear name badges and Kiwanis branded clothing and pins. Clean-up and return club supplies to storage, request and purchase additional supplies as needed. Record lunch sales to members/guests, maintain historical record for quarterly profit evaluations. Great guests and program presenter. Coordinates weekly 50/50 drawing and Happy Dollar basket with all money going to Treasurer.
Human and Spiritual Values Committee
Boyd, james
Implement projects that offer companionship and comfort, offer counseling and guidance or support spiritual development. The committee will be mindful of serious illnesses of Club members and of deaths of members' immediate family members, convey get well wishes and condolences on behalf of the Club members (cards or notes), represent (whenever possible) the Club in the event of a death in the family, and regularly inform the Club president of the Committees activities. Provide invocation during meetings and events.
Interclub and Networking Committee
Ritter, James
Schedules and performs visits to other Kiwanis Clubs within our Division. Encourages Club members to attend these events. Investigates potential synergies with other Clubs and Organizations.

Researches, develops and provides approved materials to be utilized by club committees. Maintains an inventory of materials on hand, checks out the materials, returns materials to inventory, and creates new materials as needed. Recommends to the board materials to be created and a budget for said materials.
Membership Growth and Education Committee

Develops and executes plan for membership growth retention, and education including a formal orientation to new members. Recommends to the board means to accommodate potential members who may not be available to attend regular club meetings but who wish to provide service in the community.
Nominating Committee

Annually nominates the Officers and Board Members for the upcoming year. The Committee is composed of the current Club President who serves as Chairman, President-Elect and three previous Club Presidents. Provide a succession plan by identifying, recruiting and training members for future Leadership positions. Present nominees for other awards and recognition to the Board for consideration

Committee plans and execute the annual Pancake Breakfast.
Programs and Special Events Committee

Schedule speakers for weekly club meetings, organize the Annual Installation of Officers and Awards Banquet, and organize other special events. Maintain calendar of events on the Club's web site calendar. Make sure that all media requirements are met by asking presenter if he needs a computer for his external storage device, will bring his own computer, has any other audio/video requirements.
Public Relations Committee

Ensures that the public receives, through the media and other means, the objectives, goals, programs and achievements of the Club. The committee also maintains the web site.

Service Leadership Program (SLP) Committee
Darragh, Bud
Coordinate the formation and maintenance of SLPS in schools, and elsewhere, in the Club's geographical area. The Committee serves as the Liaison to the Service Leadership Programs by maintaining an ongoing relationship with the sponsored youth and their faculty advisors. The committee keeps the Club informed of their activities and promotes member involvement in their programs, and seeks opportunities to build new SLPS.
